WOOD MUSIC
Date and Location TBA
Our season culminates with the premiere of Artistic Director Jonathan Cziner’s Wood Music. An evening length piece conceived as an environmental statement exploring humanity’s overconsumption and depletion of natural resources. Scored entirely for wooden instruments, performers gradually “use up” their instruments and exit the stage one by one until no music remains. The work’s theatrical structure serves as a powerful metaphor for ecological exhaustion and the potential consequences of human inaction. Don’t miss this one of a kind work.
